No Dancing Productions offers DJ services and live sound for weddings, corporate events & conferences, private parties and pretty much any other event you can think of. Both Austin and Alex worked their way through high school and college and continue to work as professional DJs for every sort of occasion. As lifelong musicians, we pride ourselves on knowledge of all genres of music and our ability to read a crowd. From modern pop, hip-hop, and indie-rock, to 80's ballads, disco, and big band music, we're happy to work with you to ensure you're hearing exactly the music you want to hear at your event.

Alex Ward with All Ears DJ (Chicago) is simply amazing. I can't brag enough that we had the BEST DJ for our wedding. He was fantastic to work with and really listened/understood what we were looking for. He knew all the songs that would get people dancing, had a great flow of oldies, today's hits, and slow jams, and may sure to work in a few favorites. Our dance floor was never empty, so much so we had to extend the wedding another 20 min because nobody wanted to stop. Thank you for making our wedding so incredible!!

Only exceptional events compel me to write reviews. Last night, Alex Ward gave me a reason to do so. Alex provided the music and emceeing for my son's wedding and he was amazing. It is very hard to please a crowd of all ages, but he did so brilliantly. Everyone raved about how fun the music choices were. (He even graciously accommodated my request for a lot of Bowie : ) He was also very courteous to the guests about their requests. The dance floor was full from the first dance to the last. I have been to many events and have never heard a better DJ. Thanks so much, Alex!

We hired Alex to be our wedding DJ this past Saturday and the dance floor was on fire the entire night. We were on a tight budget for our wedding and it was between Alex and the ever popular Cage and Aquarium. We spoke with Alex on the phone and we felt like he had a real passion for what he does and understood that music was an incredibly important part of our wedding. He was willing to work with what we liked and didn't have an attitude like "I'm a professional DJ and I can read the crowd so I'll play what I want and I'm too good for your playlist". When we met with him a few weeks before our wedding he was genuinely enthused when I showed him a playlist I made to guide his music choices, and is honestly just a super nice dude. When it came to the day of, everything was perfect. He crushed the song choices outside of the list we had given him, and people kept coming up to me the entire night telling me how amazing the music was. You could tell he was having a great time, loves what he does, and totally gets it. Alex made our wedding a PARTY and I cannot recommend him enough.

Alex with all ears dj was amazing! He was so down to earth and listened to everything that we wanted. He sang beautifully and I was so thankful we found them and they placed us with him! I highly suggest them!

Alex and Austin were awesome to work with - they helped keep stress levels low in the weeks/months leading up to the wedding, and made sure that the party didn't stop until the last person wasn't able to dance any longer on the night of the wedding. Prior to the wedding day, they were great about communicating with me and my wife to get an exact feel about the vibe we were aiming for. As a music snob myself, they were totally receptive when I sent them an extensive list of songs that we wanted to be played, and I'll be damned if they didn't play every song on there. Additionally, the songs that they chose outside of the ones we provided were great, and fit seamlessly with the rest of the music for the night. Unfortunately, the owner of our wedding venue was a bit of a mess, and when Alex and Austin arrived the PA for the night was sitting in a pile, completely not set up. We were so grateful when the two of them went to work getting everything set up without being asked to do so, making sure that my wife and I could focus on getting ready for everything else involved with a wedding. They conducted themselves professionally during the wedding rehearsal, taking notes to make sure that the timing for all the cues during the ceremony were perfect, and that they had the correct pronunciation for everyone in the wedding party's name. By the time the actual reception was in full swing, the two of them had already proven themselves as dependable. However, their ability to start and keep a party alive is just as impressive. They are funny on the microphone without being overbearing, their music selection will fit what you are looking for, and they are great with wedding guests - catering to song requests and humoring/having a good time with your drunk friends and family that won't leave them alone. We still get compliments from friends and family about our wedding DJ's. We have passed Austin and Alex's information along to friends that have, and plan on using them. We couldn't recommend them any higher, and it would be a shame to hire anyone else for your big day.
